Taberna La Dulce Harleey
Rock, solidarity and biker spirit at Taberna La Dulce Harleey: HANG OUT's charity gig
The morning gig on 21 December 2025 at Taberna La Dulce Harleey will go down as one of the band's most heart-warming and soulful mornings. With the roar of motorbikes in the background and a winter sun warming things up, HANG OUT took the stage at 13:00 for a gig with the best cause imaginable: a toy drive for children at Christmas.
Biker vibes, brotherhood and a proper feed
From early on, the atmosphere couldn't have been better. The area around the pub filled up with bikers, ice-cold beers and delicious burgers that went down a treat with everyone. Solidarity was in the air in every corner, turning the morning into a real celebration of brotherhood, generosity and a passion for two wheels and good music.
A heart-stopping setlist for a bigger cause
The moment the band hit the stage, the energy went through the roof, no holding back. The setlist was a proper steamroller of classics designed to get anyone on their feet.
The electric opener: the onslaught kicked off in style with the unmistakable roar of Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit, the runaway adrenaline of the Ramones' Blitzkrieg Bop and Neil Young's generational anthem Rockin’ in the Free World.
The rock juggernaut: with Pablo's voice up front, Pedro and Borja's riffs and Jhony's bass, the machine kept running sweetly, with Jorge's tireless hitting behind the kit driving AC/DC's T.N.T., the sheer bad attitude of Reincidentes' Vicio, the cheek of Scorpions' Rock You Like a Hurricane and the heart-wrenching Frío, in Txarrena's version (the original is by Alarma!!!, Manolo Tena's band).
The acoustic oasis: after the electric storm, the gig dropped down a gear with an acoustic stretch full of feeling and intimacy: Loquillo's Cadillac solitario, the most personal touch with Ron (Murciélago de Bacardí), Pablo's own song, and the pinpoint delicacy of Metallica's Nothing Else Matters.
The home-grown fireworks finale: the last stretch brought the electricity back to midday with Porretas' version of Pongamos que hablo de Madrid, the might of Obús' Te visitará la muerte, the swagger of Ilegales' Agotados de esperar el fin, the suburban poetry of Extremoduro's Ama, ama, ama y ensancha el alma, the raw emotion of Los Suaves' Dolores se llamaba Lola and fists in the air for Barricada's En blanco y negro to finish on a massive high.
It was, without a doubt, a perfect morning on which HANG OUT proved that the purest street rock also has the biggest heart. Music, solidarity and brotherhood in their purest form!
