Who is responsible
HangOut Spain Band. Contact: info@hangoutspainband.com.
What data we keep
- Your email, to identify you, confirm your account, recover your password and, if you ask for them, send you notifications.
- Your password, if you sign up with email: we store it encrypted in a way that not even the band can read it.
- If you log in with Google: we only receive your email, an identifier for your Google account and your first name, which we suggest as your alias. We never see your Google password.
- Your alias, which is public: it appears on the leaderboard, suggestions, photos and prizes.
- Your date of birth, to check that you are at least 14. The year is never shown. If you switch it on («Celebrate my birthday», in My profile), on your birthday your alias appears at the top of the Fan Zone, only for logged-in fans, and they can wish you a happy birthday. You can switch it off whenever you like.
- Your participation: answers to games and quizzes, votes, predictions, gigs you say you're going to or check in at, suggestions, support for suggestions, points and prizes.
- What you send us: photos and artwork (we remove location data before uploading them) and what you tell us when you tag yourself in a photo. If the band approves that you appear in a photo, your alias (never your name) is shown next to it; you can remove yourself from your passport.
- Phone notifications, only if you switch them on: the address your browser gives us to send you notifications (managed by Google, Apple or Mozilla depending on the browser) and the topics you choose. It is deleted when you switch them off or delete your account.
- Essential technical data: a session cookie to keep you logged in (
__Host-hangout_fan, 60 days) and temporary logs to curb abuse.
What for
To make the Fan Zone work: identifying you, keeping track of your points, running games, votes, predictions and giveaways, publishing what you send if we approve it, handing over your prizes and, only if you confirm it, sending you notifications by email. The legal basis is your consent when you create your profile and subscribe to notifications, which you can withdraw whenever you like.
Who else sees it
Only the band, from its panel. If you win a prize we may write to you at your email address. The data is stored with Cloudflare (database, files and email sending), which acts as data processor. To stop bots we use Cloudflare Turnstile. If you choose to log in with Google, Google is involved in that login. We do not sell or pass on your data to anyone else.
How long
For as long as you have your profile. If you delete it, your data, your participation and your photos are deleted; your song suggestions stay, without an author.
Your rights
From My profile you can change your alias, choose or remove your notifications (email and phone) and delete your account. To access your data, correct it, take it with you or object to anything, write to us at info@hangoutspainband.com. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es).
